It's true... about a week ago I got braces. It was a horrible experience, well not the part where my braces were actually placed (which sounds a lot more scary than it actually is), but more the part that my mouth was practically torn apart by this braces-thing. Really, there was like this huge hole in my cheek! And it hurt like "H"...
But now that I look back it was no big deal. I think I just thought it was horrible because I have a very unpleasant feeling when I'm around doctors or dentists.... (Uuuhhgg...) I really hate those people, thinking it's nothing to pull out a tooth and stuff. That was really the baddest part about getting braces... A few weeks ago I had to go to a dentist to pull out a back tooth o.0 And yes, it WAS just as horrible as it sounds. (it was for me) At first I didn't really care and I was just planning on really staying calm and relaxed and stuff, but when I got into that seat....I GOT SO SCARED. It's hard to believe that I just wasn't prepared even though I had more then a week to think about it. So I started to panic as my doom was getting closer. But after a long speech of the dentist (which I totally didn't hear because I was too busy trying to pull myself together) I decided to just lay down and let it happen. So the Doc. gave me 2 injections in my mouth (palate I think it was) and then everything went down really easy. He pulled out my tooth and when you leave the dirty fact that I heard a disgusting squishing sound when he was pulling, everything went really well... ^-^'
I've pretty much gotten used to my braces now, although it kinda looks like my lips are swollen -_-' -sigh- I better need to get used to that as well, since I still have like 2 years to go...
Sorry I'm getting depressed... I better stop
